On March 9, 2013 the VeronaWalk CERT Team held an in house drill. The scheduled County wide drill was canceled due to lack of participation by other teams. Our drill placed emphasis on triage, communications, team member safety and Incident Command.

TEAM MEETING - FEBRUARY 28
One new team
member was introduced at the February 28th team meeting. Two residents
currently in training were also introduced.
The up coming March 9th in house drill was discussed as was storage of equipment. One team 2-way radio was rendered un serviceable by storing it in a zip lock bag in a humid garage. Radios should be stored without batteries in them inside the home to keep them dry and serviceable.
Our team will assemble in the Town Center at 8:00 A.M. on March 9th to participate in our annual drill.
