CERT CLASS CANCELED DUE TO HURRICANE FAY
Unbelievable.
Training for emergency responders had to be canceled due to an unexpected situation. Hurricane Fay.
This "lady" had a mild impact on our community. There did not appear to be any major damage to homes, but several trees were relocated.
Another loss was "students" missed coffee and cake.

FIRST CLASS
Town Hall will host training for approximately 25 residents who upon graduation will b certified CERT members. The classes are scheduled for the next six weeks.
The initial session had strong support from the county who supplied Collier's Emergency Management Coordinator.
The class also had "students" from across Collier Blvd at Lely Resorts.
