FINAL TEST
Our guy's from east Naples Fire after giving us the best of training, gave us the best of final exams. Engine 51 could not have done better.
This was one where the writer doesn't rememebr what happened. It was just bodies all over. Bleeding all over. Flames all over.
In an instant our teams knew what to do. Kill the flames, and stop the bleeding. Easy, right? No, the field was covered with hurdles.
One lady screamed so hard everyone wanted her out of the truck, but there ws a "live" electric line. This necessitated a call to FPL, and a prayer for the lady "Don't die, and stop screaming." In the end she was saved, and all fires put out. No injuries.
Te exam ended with a well deserved coffee and cake session. The Fire Chief even joined us, and kept his words brief as he too wanted to have some cake.

C.P.R TRAINING
Well what do you do once you find the person who needs your help. CPR is a good choice.
Our class had instruction at the last session on how to administer this life saving act. It's head back, clear throat and then (remember these numbers) 30 compressions followed by 5 breaths. Do it right, get help, and you may save a life.
Once again thanks to the trainers brought in to help us learn.
