Our volunteers held their monthly C.E.R.T. meeting at 7:00 PM on Feb. 24. The meeting was inside the community's Town Center.
The focus of the meeting was discussion of last minute details regarding the March 5 Pancake Breakfast. Assignments were confirmed and it appears the team is set to make this a successful day.
Also on the agenda was a training session regarding Media Relations. Greg Speers was the lecturer, and as always was welcomed to our meeting.
The next CERT team meeting will be held on February 24th at 7:00 P.M. in our Town Center. All team members are requested to bring any fund raiser tickets and registration logs they still have in their possession, and all funds form those sales. We'll go over final plans for the event. There will also be a training session plus a special guest. All calling contacts please notify your respective areas no later then Tuesday, Feb.22.
The VeronaWalk C.E.R.T. team met on January 20 at 7:00 P.M.
The team discussed plans for our March 5th fund raiser, and training both in our community, and county wide training to include an upcoming Incident Command course. Our team constantly trains to better serve VeronaWalk.
