CAPTAINS MESSAGE

Our next team meeting will be on Sept.27 at 7:00 P.M. in our Town Center. Please try to attend as we'll discuss our plans for CERT Day (Oct. 6th ), CPR/AED training, and our holiday party.    

Our plans and preparation for Tropical Storm Isaac  will also be reviewed.

CAPTAIN'S MESSAGE

All team members please remain vigilant, and watch the weather closely as it is still uncertain how Tropical Storm Isaac will effect us, and if it will turn in to a hurricane. During this period all CERT policies and procedures will remain in place. Team member safety is paramount.
Please check your email frequently.

TEAM MEETING - July 19

 
The July 19, 2012 meeting of the VeronaWalk CERT team focused on the team’s response after an event (hurricane, tornado etc.).

Team member safety was stressed.

 

We also continued to plan for CERT Day, Oct. 6^th at the Town Center Resort Pool. Our goal will be recruiting of full time residents. We will have displays, and serve refreshments.

Our next meeting will be held on Thursday, July 19th at 7:00 P.M. in our Town Center. We'll discuss what to do, where to go after the disaster/hurricane etc. 

We'll also start planning for CERT Day, Oct. 6th.  I hope to see everyone at our next meeting.

The VeronaWalk CERT team held their monthly meeting on June 21^st 

Town Center was the location and the agenda included a review of when and where to meet after a disaster. Generator safety was   discussed.

In addition we briefly went over plans for CERT Day on October 6^th.
