MONTHLY MEETING JANUARY 20, 2011
The VeronaWalk C.E.R.T. team met on January 20 at 7:00 P.M.
The team discussed plans for our March 5th fund raiser, and training both in our community, and county wide training to include an upcoming Incident Command course. Our team constantly trains to better serve VeronaWalk.

Our Community Emergency Response Team needs you!
Our team of volunteers constantly trains to better serve the community. CERT serves VeronaWalk in time of disaster, and in emergency situations. We are trained in triage, first aid, search and rescue and more. This team, made up of your neighbors makes a difference. We’re ready to serve the community when the professionals cannot reach you. After a hurricane, or natural disaster 911 as you know it may not function for up to 72 hours. CERT will be there to help when the professionals cant. Join our team, serve your community and help make a difference.

CAPTAINS MESSAGE: MEETING JAN. 10,2011
Our team will meet next Monday, January 10th in our Town Centers Great Room at
10:00 A.M. & again at 7:00 P.M. Please attend one of the meetings.( you only need to attend one) We're holding 2 meetings as to be certain every team member has the opportunity to attend. 2010 YEAR IN REVIEW
They say, "A picture says a thousand words."
The above "shots" show our VeronaWalk CERT Team in various activities during 2010. As the pictures show Our Volunteers had a very productive year.
The TEAM looks forward to an even better 2011.

TEAM HAS SECOND ANNUAL PIZZA NIGHT
Our VeronaWalk CERT team celebrated its' second anniversary with a Pizza Party. The event was held on December 16 during the monthly meeting.
Family members also attended this milestone meeting. It was at which was at Town Center, and ran from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
Our members celebrated a year with no disasters while enjoying some great pizza. The Pizza's were purchased by the team from Rick's Place, which is our community's new restaurant.
Gregg Speers, of the East Naples Fire Dept, took time from his busy schedule to meet with us, and share some of the fine pie. The pictures tell the rest of the story.

A reminder to all team members. To remain protected by the Florida State Good Samaritan Law training must be current. please try to attend all meetings and drills. Another CPR/AED course will be offered to team members in the near future. Please watch this blog, and check your emails frequently.
